At one point in time the Roman Solidus was the most trusted store of value and standard medium of exchange in the world. With a similar goal in mind, the Solidus Project exists to bring the benefits of blockchain and decentralized financial products to more people. We believe people should have the power to accrue and store their wealth securely, the freedom to save or spend it when and where they want to, and the autonomy to live life by their own convictions. We are on a mission to build a blockchain network and an entire ecosystem that is simple for people to work with, available to use in as many practical aspects of life as possible, and secure and scalable to meet the demands of a growing community which will rely on it.
